Rod is becoming a very decorated professional. He work has been awarded at every show he's entered including
the Eastern Sport and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg and the Cabela's Taxidermy Show. Rod has received
3rd place for a buck mount and 3rd place People's Choice Award at the Cabela's Taxidermy Show.

At the Eastern Sport and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg PA,
Rod won the First Place Peoples Choice Award for his fox/grouse mount.

Also at the Harrisburg show, Rod won this trophy for "Best All-Round Taxidermist." He received a ribbon for all of the mounts he entered in the contest.

Rod is a life long hunter that loves the outdoors.  He enjoys spending time camping, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting with his wife and daughters. Rod has recently decided to take up taxidermy full time.  In January of 2007, he enrolled in the Pocono Institute of Taxidermy to complete courses necessary to obtain his state certification. Although certified in March of 2007, Rod has done Taxidermy work on his own animals for more than 20 years.  Rod is also a proud member of the Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association. He has been named Best All Around Taxidermist at the 2008 Harrisburg Outdoor Show. Also at the show, he recieved ribbons on all 6 of his entries and was awarded the First Place People's Choice Award. The mount that was voted all around favorite was the fox/grouse platform scene.
